With those who believe, I rejoice! I challenge those who don’t to look into it fully, then decide. Jesus didn’t expect people to believe with blind, unsubstantiated faith that He was who He claimed to be, nor does He expect us to. There was, and is, a staggering amount of proof. Pastor Rush discusses some of it in last year’s Easter service. The Empty Tomb. It’s well worth watching, no matter which side of the truth you’re on.

As I was finishing the above paragraph, Arctic notified me there was someone at the door. He’s been patrolling since 11:30 last night, after discovering and scaring off a couple of people outside the front door. He takes social distancing very seriously, and let them know it in no uncertain terms. They promptly fled. He got tons of praise and a biscuit, and it may be a while before he accepts that it isn’t necessary to be that fierce, unless I give the go ahead. I can live with that!

Today, though, it was the amazon delivery person whose presence was heralded. He or she was gone by the time I looked out the window, but what they left behind, was this…

I’m thrilled to have my copy! I look forward to the rest of my readers having theirs. The kindle version will be out April 17, for those who prefer electronic over hardcopy.

“Ashes of Roses” picks up where “Depart the Darkness” leaves off, and encompasses yet another very busy week in the lives of Miles and Anika Bannerman. If you haven’t read “Stonecastle Inn”, or could do with a refresher, now’s a good time.  Miles’ younger brother James, and his wife Katharine, have a part in the storyline. Anyone who hasn’t read “Stonecastle Inn” will have access to all they need in “Ashes of Roses” in order to understand, but, getting to know James and Katharine ahead of time gives the richest reading experience. And now, it’s time for me to get back to Jack and Charlotte, in “Gone in a Flash”. They’re finishing up the first chapter, and in the second is Jack’s interview with Miles and Anika. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens! The only way to do that is to write it, so that’s what I’m going to do.

Happy reading!
