Finally, my mother is back from Ireland! Not that I’ve had a chance to read the latest chapters in “Disengaged” to her, since she got home not long ago, and she’s still on Irish time. But, maybe, that means she’ll get up super-early tomorrow. I can hope, anyway!
I’m desperate to read what I wrote during her absence. I’m at a point where I have to do that, in order to check pacing. I also need to brainstorm out the details of the investigation Rob and Samantha, and Erik and Amber, are separately and simultaneously working on. Having four main characters is complicated. But, as I learned in “Terms of Engagement,” it is possible and sometimes necessary.

Feeling much better now! I had a chance to talk to Mom last night, after all. The pacing is right, and there was enough time to brainstorm the next segment of the book. And so, now I can move on! “Disengaged” is currently on page 206.
Happy reading!
