I’m so glad to be finished, for so many reasons. First off, this is my seventeenth book! That’s kind of exciting. 423 Apprehensive Avenue, Mystery Lane book 3, is next. That, too, is exciting! I can’t believe how long its been since I wrote 601 Suspense Street. It’s about time Will and Gemma had another book. And Fox! The book opens with him. I don’t expect to see Will and Gemma, or much (if anything) of the mystery, until chapter 2. Jack Ryland’s next book, which is untitled as of yet, will be written concurrently. I do best if I can jump back and forth, rather than stick with one book until the end. I tried the less efficient manner on Lochlan Museum, and Disengaged, and found I wrote much slower doing one at a time. Not that all sorts of life obstacles didn’t get in the way, but, writing more than one book at a time works for me, so I’m getting back to what works. In addition to that, I’ll be researching for Ashes of Roses, The House of Bannerman book 6. And that, will be my twentieth book. It seems appropriate, sort of, since HOB book 1 was my first. In addition to all of this, I intend to begin recording audiobook versions of my books–today! This is very exciting, as I love reading my characters. I look forward to having the audio option available for all of my books, soon. As I do have seventeen now (did I mention that already?) I can guarantee I won’t have this completed by the end of the year. But it will happen.
Until listening becomes an option, then… happy reading!
