Halfway through 601 Suspense Street… and suddenly it’s out with the old plot, and in with the new.  No I’m not kidding, we’ve had not a plot twist, but a plot replacement.  The surgery is currently underway.  Do feel free to wish me luck.

It’s all for the best though.  I couldn’t get excited about the old plot, not like I can this one.  I was kind of excited about it before, but… you know that feeling when you try something on and you look in the mirror and you keep wanting it to work and it just… isn’t?  That’s how the original plot felt.  The new plot feels exactly right, and I’m very excited about re-vamping the first half of the book and writing the second half.  The originally estimated release date of September hasn’t changed.  I expect to have it complete in plenty of time.

I finished re-working a chapter that stars Gemma’s grandmothers.  Oh my goodness, those ladies make me laugh!  They are too funny, and are they ever fiercely loyal to their new granddaughter and Will!  They have some very peculiar tales to tell about a certain house in the little town of Eerie, too.

Happy reading, everyone!  It’s time for me to get back to 601 Suspense Street…
