There was an email that needed composing, and I was having the worst time figuring out how to word it. How can I write a novel, several in fact, and I can’t write an email? Then a friend suggested having one of my characters write it. So I thought, hm. Why not?
Miles came off like the businessman he is. It was a great note, but it didn’t fit the situation or tone that needed to be conveyed. So Nate tried next, and that was that. Perfect!
I’m doing this from now on.
“Hiding Treasure” is 163 pages now. Halfway to the goal of 300. Although… if I’m not mistaken, every book since “715 Mystery Lane” has been longer than the one before. “601 Suspense Street” is 351 pages. I’d like to break this growing streak though. I’ve got so many other books to write!
Happy reading!
