Here it is, the cover for “Depart the Darkness,” HOB book 5. I’ve… written on it a little in the last few days. But, I’ve also completed the first chapter of “Cottonwood Hotel,” book 2 in The Investigations of Jack Ryland series. I’m on chapter 4 of “Terms of Engagement,” a stand-alone mystery, and both of those are monopolizing the majority of my time.
There was also Christmas of course, and time with family, and I did cook dinner for the occasion. If things go the way I have planned, they’ll be satisfied living off of ham for the next week. Considering the two of them went to Chick fil-a today, my faith in the success of that plan is waning. They ate, though. And I didn’t have to cook. So I’ll take it.
I’ve got books to write, so happy reading, and now I’m going to get back to that!
