“423 Apprehensive Avenue” is now on page 60, and “Uncertainly Yours” is on 223. Both would be finished if not for an overload of health issues, doctor visits, labs, testing, etc. Between the three of us, it’s been ages since we’ve had a week go by without two or three appointments, plus all the rest. Some days I’m hardly home. I’m a little exhausted, but, God answered prayer in a miraculous way and took the financial burden off our shoulders. Being the person in charge of finances, that weight was rather heavy. I was looking at the cold, hard reality that certain testing and treatment, regardless of how necessary, would have to be put off. But, God took care of it. He didn’t miraculously heal each of us of our various afflictions, but He’s given us everything we need to keep going. I’m thankful! Now that I’m no longer burdened by that responsibility, maybe my creative energy will renew. My characters have been as tired as I am lately, and haven’t had the energy to investigate their various mysteries, but I think another night’s sleep and that that will change. I’d suggest we all take a nap right now, but I need to pick up Em from school for yet another appointment! So, I need to get moving and do that. I intend to take my laptop along, and maybe I’ll get a little something written while we wait. Eventually, I’ll get them both finished. In the meantime, happy reading!
