That’s right. “Lochlan Museum,” is done. It was done last month, but I got busy, and didn’t have the chance to post about it. A couple of my proofers are in the process of moving, so I’m short two. My other two, however, are finished.

After I finished writing “Lochlan,” I moved on to “Disengaged,” third in the Terms of Engagement series. It’s on page 182. I’m enjoying it tremendously. It’s another one of those that’s hard to write. It’s got some tough subject matter, but I discovered while writing “Failure to Engage,” that I love a challenge.

In the area of book writing, anyway. In other areas, not so much. In other areas, there have certainly been enough of them, in my opinion. I keep reminding myself, this is a test. For the Christian, this life is all about sanctification, becoming Christlike. Sanctification isn’t done to save, Jesus’ sacrifice did that already. But out of love for Him, and in response to His love for us, then we sanctify. I was in a hurry to get that done, as I am everything else (except cleaning the house). I prayed for opportunities to strengthen and grow. And, was hit from all sides.

With God’s grace I’ll be a diamond in the end, rather than crumble. There are some ways in which this past couple of months have been the hardest of my life. Anyone who knows me well, and therefor knows much about my life, knows that’s saying a lot. But remembering that it’s a test, that there’s a purpose to all things, often eases my mind. I particularly appreciate verses like first Thessalonians five, twenty-three and twenty-four~ “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful.” I also appreciate John seventeen, verse fifteen, when Jesus prays “I’m not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.” Jesus prayed that, for me, for every believer, as He says in verse twenty, “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me through their message.” How comforting is that?

There are so many other great verses. I don’t have time to type them all out. Lucky for all of us, they’re nicely printed in every bible. Seek there, and you shall find them for yourself. So happy reading, and I’m going to get back to writing.
