In addition to Kindle on Amazon, I’m currently in the process of adding my books to Barnes & Noble. It will take until the end of August to have all twenty available on Nook. The hardbacks will come sooner I hope, although I can’t be certain due to how many there are, and the necessity of making serious modifications to the cover files in order to fit hardback. It took an incredibly long day yesterday to complete two, and since I also hope to continue writing Gone in a Flash… it will take more than nine additional days to have them all done! There’s the chance I’ll get the hang of it and it won’t take so long after this, but… when it comes to cover design and making formatting changes in Word, there is no rapid progress. Not in the right direction, anyway!

Word is bad enough, but using it on a Mac adds a whole new dimension of obstacles. I remember when Word first debuted. Unlike Wordperfect, this program would do what you wanted it to. Or so it was said. If Anika was present at the time, she would have declared that was not the truth!

There’s generally a workaround to the issues that arise, but it definitely takes work to locate them. As frustrating as I often find it to be, I prefer Word over a typewriter. I go back and forth making edits so often, it would take me even longer to get the job done the old-fashioned way.

The Nook version of Isle of the Crescent Moon is now available, and the hardback will soon follow. So will the hardback of Miles, although due to contractual agreements with Amazon, the Nook versions of that and all other books will have to wait a bit longer. Until then, I hope you enjoy Lizbeth and Max’s adventures in Isle of the Crescent Moon!
