All sorts of things make for a great day, and I haven’t time to write them all out.
But… it’s a very good day when this writer gets up in the morning to find that her latest book, Darkness Falls, is still the #1 Hot New Release in its category on Amazon, and all three books in The House of Bannerman series are listed on the top ten Bestsellers list in their category! Numbers 6, 8 and 9, to be exact. I love this series and it makes my heart glad to see that I’m not the only one. I’d write it even if I was… but it fills me with joy that I can share what I love with others.
“Miles” is a story that brewed for about thirty years before it was ready to be written… but that’s a post for another time.
For now I’ll get back to writing “Isle of the Crescent Moon,” a historical novel set in 1910. It’s so close to being finished, and when it is, I’ll consider that a very great day indeed. So will Will and Gemma, because they’re rather anxious to finish 601 Suspense Street, book 2 in the Mystery Lane series. Miles and Anika have book 5 in their series planned out, and–it’s a good thing I ordered more espresso today.
