There’s been a complete plot change for Mystery Lane book 3, so the title may undergo change, as well. If it does… and I’m kind of thinking it will… then 423 Apprehensive Avenue will be book 4, or 5. Book 4 or 5, will also have book 3’s original plot. There was nothing wrong with it, but, the timing was off. And so, it’s been put off for now.
I’m loving the new plot. There’s so much to work with, and I’m looking forward to investigating with Will, Gemma, and Fox. I’m looking forward to starting book 1’s audio version too, but, the residual effects of that pesky flu I had about three or four weeks ago, need to come to an end first. My voice isn’t back to normal yet. But, my studio is completely set up, and ready to go. So the delay was a blessing, after all. My tendency toward impatience leads me to rush ahead, when it would be better to wait until all of the necessary equipment is in place, and operational. Nothing like having vocal issues to put a halt to audio book recording. No amount of impatience will push through that barricade! So, I write book 3, drink something called throat coat tea–which isn’t as disgusting as it sounds. I admit, I was quite apprehensive, considering the reviews tended to read “it doesn’t taste too bad”. It doesn’t taste too bad? That’s still bad! And that’s why Brad refused to try it for me. Like I said, I was apprehensive. I thought he ought to prove this affection he claims to have for me, and drink that tea, so I could observe his response. Apparently, there’s a limit to his desire to prove himself. He would not drink the tea. It isn’t that bad though, it isn’t bad at all. There won’t be a run on it anytime soon, or ever, but it isn’t bad. As to what I was saying, for now I write book 3, drink throat coat tea, and feel satisfaction that my studio is set and ready to go, whenever the day comes that I am.
Mystery Lane book 3 is on page 20. It’s got a long way to go, but it’s a start! I want to get a little further along than this before the day ends, so happy reading, and I’m going to get back to writing!
