How far off that horizon is I cannot say, but Fox’s short story is on chapter two, an untitled stand-alone has several pages of fresh notes, and the plot for the 7th book in the House of Bannerman series is brewing. No notes, no pages, but… I don’t know how everyone else’s mind works, but mine is never silent. There are so many trains of thought running, and they just keep going whether I pay attention or not. One can’t ride more than one literal train at a time, and it’s difficult to follow more than three trains of thought simultaneously. The plot to HOB, book 7 is on one of those trains. It spends time in my subconscious mind, then turns up again with new material. Not everyone believes there is such a thing as the subconscious mind, and I wonder why. Their brains must work very differently, or they’d have no choice but to believe it exists. They must be horribly bored! I’m always interested when the HOB, book 7 train shows up. For quite some time it was all about Jenny and Xander and their June wedding, but lately it also involves the children’s home Miles’ sister, Cynthia, and her husband founded. Because when is anything that simple when it comes to Miles and Anika’s life! They got a three month reprieve after their wedding, but it’s been nonstop ever since. That’s not likely to change.
“Gone in a Flash” is now available for pre-order at Amazon in Kindle, paperback, and hardback, and on Barnes & Noble for Nook. Martin says get it! Get it now! He’s kind of bossy that way.
While waiting for “Gone in a Flash” to be released August 26th, now’s a great time to reread “Last Chance Inn” and “Cottonwood Hotel” in preparation. Happy reading, whatever it is you decide to read, and now… I’m going to get back to writing!
This is wonderful news!! Thank you so much for your books! I love fiction that honors Jesus!
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you enjoy them 🙂
