This might possibly be the cover for “Disengaged.” I hesitate to say for certain, since I frequently change my mind after making such statements. But, for now, this is it.

“Disengaged” the novel, is on page 193. I intend to write as much as I can before stalling out. My listening ear is on the way to Ireland, and reading to the cat isn’t all that satisfactory. She tends to fall asleep mid-sentence, which isn’t encouraging. She gives absolutely no other feedback, and doesn’t participate in brainstorming sessions. She does delight in dabbing at my wrist with her exceedingly wet nose while I’m trying to write, which I find deeply distracting and also disgusting. And she bites. She falls short of an acceptable stand-in, to put it mildly. So, at some point, I’ll have to stop writing, and then I’ll read over “Lochlan Museum” one last time. That point hasn’t yet happened, so for now, “Disengaged” continues.

My favorite guy character is, and always will be, Miles. My second favorite… just may be Erik Davison. You’ll meet him in “Disengaged.” This guy’s bible knowledge, and the way he faces danger, is blowing me away. I can’t wait to see what he does next! I almost can’t wait to see Justin & Laney, Evan & Patrice, and Gabriel, again. I do have to wait, but not long. They’ll soon be joining Erik Davison and Amber Fields. They don’t play a major role, as each of the Terms of Engagement series of books are stand-alones. But they’ll be there, and I look forward to seeing them.

And so, I’m going to get back to writing. Happy reading!
