Life has not slowed down one iota. There are as many doctor appointments as ever, and it seems each day brings a new complication or crisis with it. But…
423 Apprehensive Avenue is on page 260. This is a huge leap, thanks in part to taking my laptop with me everywhere I go. I stopped doing that for a while, and as it seems I’m going more than I’m staying these days, it was leaving a serious dent in my page count. I’ve also been praying about it, because I’d really like to get this book done. I think I need the distraction of writing too, and maybe God thinks the same thing, because–book 3 is on page 260, as I said. It is, in fact, nearing the end. As is typical, my mind is already wandering to and problem-solving the book I’ll be working on next. That would be Uncertainly Yours, a Bannerman Foundation mystery. Miles and Anika are in it, although not the main characters this time, and not written from Anika’s perspective. They’re major characters though, and the book is mostly written already. So I am hopeful that not only will book 3 in the Mystery Lane series be available before long, but that Uncertainly Yours will be too. I’m glad Miles and Anika are in it, because I really miss them! Book 6 in their series is long overdue. It, or Jack’s 3rd are next on the schedule.
That’s it for now, because I’m determined to get to the last page, whatever that might be. So happy reading, and I’m going to get back to Will and Gemma, Fox and DC, and the town of Eerie!
