All three search and rescue dogs, plus the puppies that were born after they were abducted, have been found and reunited with their person, Dr. Lark! So many people have been on the edge of their seats praying for exactly this, and as many are now rejoicing 😄. The PI who tracked them down is worth the reward for their return, and then some!

“Reclamation” is coming along more or less according to schedule. The chapter currently under construction is the most difficult. Once I’m past that, the rest will be easy. It’s mostly written, as a matter of fact. So I have high hopes that I’ll get back to “Gone in a Flash” in July. That would be seasonally appropriate, considering that’s when it takes place. The year is 2016 rather than 2022, but the month is the same. Fortunately for Jack and Charlotte, it’s not nearly as hot for them, as it is for us. Houston is particularly brutal this year, and summer has only begun. It’s doubtful Arctic will get in a decent walk until cooler weather returns, and that won’t be for several months. At least the backyard has shade in the afternoon, and he loves playing frisbee. And chasing off the squirrels. And he would really like to make the acquaintance of the cottontail rabbit that’s taken up residence in the yard. So, there’s plenty of activities to keep him satisfied until then.
