“Hiding Treasure” is two chapters away from completion. That sounds a lot closer to being finished than it is, though. Next comes the first read-over to check for errors and story consistency. Maybe something changed along the way, so something at the beginning needs to be altered to match. Here’s an example; a certain character started out older than he/she ended up, so their age needs to be altered here and there for the sake of consistency. After the read-over will come several more, and finally “Hiding Treasure” will go out to my proofreaders, and I’ll start working in earnest on “Depart the Darkness,” and get started on “Last Chance Inn.” I can hardly wait!
So in the interest of saving my sanity as Jack and Cheryl, main characters of “Last Chance Inn,” dialog like mad and interfere with my ability to think and write anything else, I’m going to get back to work and finish up “Hiding Treasure.”
Happy reading!
