I’ve been hard at work on 601 Suspense Street. Here’s a picture of my laptop keyboard to prove it. The texture is worn off of a lot of the keys and the space bar has a noticeable indentation it’s been pressed so many times.
It’s all paying off, 601 is nearing completion. It’s at 316 pages, with probably 25 or so to go. Then, the fine-tuning will begin. Once that’s done, finally my proofreaders will get their copies. I hoped that would happen today… well the end isn’t that near, but it is closer.
“The Lodge at Whispering Pines” is now available, and I’m glad to have it out there where people can actually read it. I’m ready to start on Miles and Anika’s next adventure too. I’ve got the file open on my desktop and will begin as soon as I’m finished with 601. I’ll also begin another stand-alone novel. Which of so many different ideas I’ll choose to develop next remains to be seen!
